About the Pastor

Pastor Jon Ogle is a native of Oklahoma, and is a 1979 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He most recently earned his Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport.

Dr. Ogle served as Senior Pastor of Gateway Church International in Roswell, New Mexico from 1987 until November 2001. Gateway Church International has been recognized nationally as a pacesetter in evangelism and has numerous ministries including a fully accredited Christian school, School of Ministry and an expansive missions program. Gateway Church International experienced an increasing flow of New Testament revival with growing occurrences of supernatural signs, wonders, physical healing, and life changing encounters with Jesus Christ under Pastor Ogles’ leadership.

Dr. Ogle has appeared regularly on radio and television as well as ministering in conferences, crusades and revivals across the U.S. and abroad. In September 1999, Pastor Ogle appeared at the Dallas Convention Center for the Greater Dallas Soul Winning Seminar with David Allbritton and Arthur Blessitt. The program was aired worldwide on Trinity Broadcasting Network. Overseas crusades have included an open-air meeting in Benin City, Nigeria where over 20,000 gathered in attendance. The crusade was aired nationally in Nigeria. In addition to his ministry in Roswell, Pastor Ogle served as a pastoral advisor to Youth America, a national youth ministry based out of Oklahoma City. Dr. Ogle has also been selected as an Outstanding Young Man of America.

Pastor Ogle is happily married to the former Miss Toni Mullins. They have three children: Joni, Jonathan and Jordan. The Ogles assumed the pastorate of First Family Church in November 2001.
